Monsignor Della Casa Country Resort, winner of a 2011 Condé Nast Johansens award, is just 3 km from Borgo San Lorenzo. It is spread over 200 hectares of land.

All rooms are large and furnished in a Tuscan style. Each includes free Wi-Fi and an LCD satellite TV. Some rooms come with furnished patios with beautiful views, original fireplaces and four-poster beds or spa baths.

In this charming hamlet you will find 2 large swimming pools, tennis, volleyball and football courts. The wellness centre includes a sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath.

The Country Resort’s restaurant and wine bar, Enoteca del Monsignore, serves traditional Tuscan specialities and can also organize candlelit dinner in front of a real fire or out on the terrace in the summer. A buffet breakfast with sweet and savoury products is also available.

The professional staff at Monsignor Della Casa can arrange a variety of excursions, including quad-biking, wine and oil tasting trips, truffle-hunting excursions, cooking classes and guided city tours.

Check-in should be carried out before 19:00. If you intend to arrive later than this please contact the hotel in advance to communicate your arrival time.

Please note that the restaurant is open for dinner only and must be booked in advance. It will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays from 18 April until 31 May, and from 1 October until 10 November. Between 1 June and 30 September, it will be open every day. From 04 April to 17 April 2014 it is open only Friday and Saturday for dinner.

The swimming pools are not heated and are only available from May until September.

Use of the spa area and mountain bikes comes at extra charge.
